ROLAWALING- TASHILAPCHA- LUKLA Rolwaling
valley is regarded as one of the seven hidden
valleys in the Himalaya and the majority of
inhabitants are Sherpa and Tamang people. It’s
long high valley penetrating deep into the
impressive mountain scenery lining Tibetan
border. The mountains here are well known for
their steepness and culminate in the formidable
cliff of Gaurishankar (7134 m). Beding and Na is
the last Sherpa village of this valley, where
more than 20 legendary Sherpa climbers, have
conquered Mt. Everest and numerous other 8000m
peaks. The first Western exploration of the
valley was during the Everest reconnaissance in
